How can I offer a 30 day interview guarantee when experts tell us that the average job search takes four and a half months? And what about the rule of thumb that it takes a month of job searching for every $10,000 in salary?

Well, those statistics are correct – for the "average" candidate.  But my clients are not "average" – and I don't write "average" resumes!  Lettersmith resumes get results.  I wouldn't offer this guarantee if I were not totally confident that our resumes will generate interviews within 30 days. After all, no resume writer wants to spend time rewriting resumes! That's why only a few resume writers will offer such a guarantee. Some will guarantee that you will be "satisfied" with the draft, but few will guarantee that you will get interviews.

Since 1990, I've worked with thousands of clients.  As a referral-based business, happy clients are in my best interest.  The quality of the resumes is my #1 concern. That's why I don't use subcontractors or employees for resume writing. You will work with me personally from consultation to draft review and final composition.

Are there any conditions to our guarantee? 

Only two.

1. In order for the guarantee to be valid, I do require that you send your resume with a cover letter that is either written by or approved by The Lettersmith. 

Why we require this.        Why is a cover letter so important? 

2. The only other condition is that you do not alter the content of your completed resume. We do provide a Word copy of your resume for emailing and printing. And you are welcome to make minor changes to the contact information, phone number, etc.  But we ask that you do not change the content, wording or formatting. Once that is changed, we can no longer guarantee the resume.  We keep your resume on file permanently, so updates are easy and inexpensive.

What do I do if I don't get interviews after using the resume for 30 days?

Just give me a call or send an email. I will ask you some questions about your job search strategy, and make some suggestions on how you can market yourself more effectively.  But I will also rewrite your resume at no charge.

What if I don't want to start my job search right away?

That's OK. You can begin to use the resume whenever you like. As long as you have given the resume at least 30 days, we will honor the guarantee.
