2. Appealing design, layout, and readability.  Distinctive appearance.

3. Strong writing, using the active voice.  Effective use of power words, keywords, and industry buzzwords. 

4. Relevancy to the target position, with relevant skills clearly highlighted.

5. Demonstrated record of accomplishments with quantified results.

6. Answers the question “Why should I hire you?” Tells the employer what you can do for them, rather than what you want from them.
